Vibrating level switch for bulk materials EMIS-SIGNAL
The EMIS-SIGNALvibrating level indicator is a sensor device designed for monitoring bulk materials. It consists of two main components: a sensor (vibrating fork) and an electronic unit. The device operates based on the tuning fork principle. A piezoelectric crystal generates mechanical vibrations in the fork at a frequency of approximately 150 Hz (specifically designed for monitoring bulk media levels). When the vibrating fork comes into contact with the monitored material, the vibration frequency changes. This frequency shift is detected by a microprocessor, which then generates a control signal to switch the state of the indicator's output contacts.
Key features & advantages
- Standard Sensor Length: The standard vibrating fork length for bulk materials is 200 mm.
- Customizable Length: Upon special request, an extended version can be manufactured, with the sensor length reaching up to 6,000 mm.
- Visual Status Indication: The state of the output contacts is visually displayed via an LED indicator.
- Material Density Requirement: For proper operation, the density of the bulk material must be at least 8 kg/m³.
This innovative solution ensures reliable and precise level monitoring for bulk materials, making it ideal for industrial applications.
