Precisely Measure Gauge Pressure in Demanding Applications
The EMIS-BAR series of Gauge Pressure Transmitters delivers reliable and accurate measurement of pressure relative to atmospheric pressure. Engineered for robust performance, these transmitters utilize a sensitive single-crystal silicon diaphragm sensor with integrated piezoresistive elements. This sensor is exposed to the process medium on one side and atmospheric pressure on the reference side.
Enhanced Protection & Customization:
For applications involving aggressive media or harsh environments, select models incorporate process-isolating diaphragms and a fill fluid system. We offer flexibility in fill fluid selection and diaphragm material to ensure optimal compatibility with your specific process requirements. EMIS-BAR Series Modifications:
- EMIS-BAR 103: In-Line Mount process connection.
- EMIS-BAR 105: Traditional-mount process connection.
- EMIS-BAR 113: Features a Fully-Welded Diaphragm Seal.
- EMIS-BAR 173: Equipped with a Remote Diaphragm Seal.
- EMIS-BAR 174: Incorporates a Remote Extended Diaphragm Seal.
Advanced Capabilities:
- Models EMIS-BAR 173 and 174 are engineered for extreme temperature environments, supporting measured media temperatures from -90°C to +400°C.
- Standard output is a robust 4-20mA analog signal utilizing two-wire current loop power.
- Seamless integration with plant control systems is enabled by the HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer) digital communication protocol, superimposed onto the 4-20mA signal without affecting its DC component.
- Installation requires a standard 250 Ω - 500 Ω loop load resistor per the HART protocol.
